Croydon Practice Manager Away Days
The Croydon GP Collaborative (CGPC) is proud to organise and host dedicated Practice Manager Away Days, bringing Practice Managers from across Croydon together for learning, collaboration, networking and professional development.
The events provide valuable protected time away from the day-to-day pressures of practice management, creating a supportive forum where colleagues can share experiences, exchange ideas and openly discuss the challenges and opportunities facing primary care.
The Croydon GP Collaborative (CGPC) works with local and external partners to develop varied and relevant programmes. Previous events have included updates and interactive sessions with the Surrey and Sussex Local Medical Committee (LMC), covering topics such as CQC compliance and managing difficult interactions, alongside updates and mentoring opportunities from the Croydon Training Hub.
The programme has continued to evolve in response to the needs of Practice Managers. Sessions have included practical workshops on GP TeamNet and facilitated discussions with LMC representatives and dedicated open forums, giving Practice Managers the opportunity to raise issues, share good practice and learn from colleagues across the borough.
The Croydon GP Collaborative (CGPC) also recognises the importance of supporting the wellbeing and resilience of Practice Managers. Alongside operational and regulatory content, Away Days have incorporated motivational and wellbeing-focused sessions, including workshops exploring the importance of looking after ourselves while supporting others and, most recently, an inspirational session delivered by Art of Brilliance.
Above all, the Practice Manager Away Days provide an opportunity to connect, collaborate and strengthen relationships across Croydon primary care, supporting a strong and engaged Practice Manager community.
